Linking Your Domain to Plesk

To link your domain to Plesk, follow these steps for a seamless setup:

1. Obtaining the Plesk IP Address

Navigate to My Services and select your web hosting plan. On the left menu under Actions, click on Log in to Plesk. The IP address can be found below the login box; use Ctrl + F and search for "IP Address".

Alternatively, go to Hosting & DNSDNS to view the IPs and the records you need to create.

2. Creating DNS Records to Link to Plesk

Important: Ensure that if your domain is registered on our site, the nameservers are set to ns1.eranet-dns.com and ns2.eranet-dns.com. If not, update them accordingly.

Note: Nameservers like shieldnode.net will not work.

Navigate to My DomainsSelect your domainManageDNS Management. Set up the following records:

  • Hostname: @ | Record type: A | IP: [Plesk IP]
  • Hostname: www | Record type: A | IP: [Plesk IP]

If SMTP records are needed, create them using the same format. You can find the necessary details under Hosting & DNSDNS in the Plesk panel.

3. Activating SSL

Return to Plesk as described above and navigate to DashboardSecuritySSL/TLS Certificates. Secure your site by creating a certificate with Let's Encrypt and continue with the process.

Conclusion

By following these steps, your domain should be successfully linked to Plesk with secure connections enabled.
